SURVIVE-TO-THRIVE
The Survive-to-Thrive Initiative is the RE:center’s framework for strengthening families by connecting essential survival services like food, housing, and healthcare with supports such as education, mentorship, and job training. Adapted from the New Mexico 100% Community Initiative and informed by Anna, Age Eight, it creates a coordinated approach that helps individuals move from crisis to stability and ultimately to thriving.
Survive | to remain alive and merely exist; to carry on despite hardships or trauma >>>

employment & income

access to food

healthcare (mental + physical)

safe housing

reliable transportation
Thrive | to grow or develop successfully; to flourish or succeed >>>

parent supports

early childhood learning

spiritual support

mentorship

job training + higher education
The RE:center seeks to provide services and programs that align with these Survive-to-Thrive categories, and when needs fall outside our scope, we partner with and refer to other agencies to ensure individuals can access the support they need.
